if you mean a Roman mosaic, it looked like any other mosaic. A mosaic is a picture or a design made of small tiles. The wealthy Romans would contract an artisan to make one for them and the subject could be whatever the buyer wanted. Some were simply geometric, others were mythological scenes, and yet others were actual historical scenes and even floral and garden scenes were found. Portraits were also done in mosaics.
As far as I can remember I was taught that there wasn't a LONDON before the Romans, it was called Londinium by them.
