From ancient times, the swastika has been a symbol of good luck, and particularly of good wind. Notice that it can been seen as a turning pinwheel or windmill. It is unfortunate that this symbol took on frightening significance in the last century, obscuring its deeper meaning.

I'm far as I'm concerned, there isn't a swastika mark in palmistry (however, I'm an amateur and there are a ridiculous amount of different ways of reading the palm and if there is I'll guess it means luck for reasons stated above), but it sounds like a deformed cross (A.K.A. a chaos mark) which is a really bad mark. It's location tells of it's nature and degree, aswell any maks beside or on it will tell even more for better or worse.
