It will have puss coming out of it & it will hurt really bad. Also your tongue will probably still be swollen after a month or so of having it. This also might be your tongues healing process. So give it some time. Rinse with sea salt 3x a day and use non-alcoholic mouth wash. If you think it's infected for sure hoot a piercing and they can help manage it.
