when mixed sulfuric acid with water in the presence of oxygen nothing happens but the acid turned from concentrated acid will turn into diluted acid.
Add water and stir; the density of the stearic acid is very low - 0,843 g/cm3; consequently this insoluble in water acid float. Zinc and sand sits at the bottom of the beaker and the stearic acid can be separated.
Yes. Distilled water is neutral so would turn the paper green. Sodium hydroxide is an alkali so would turn the paper blue/purple. Ethanoic acid is an acid so would turn the paper red/orange.
An acid in water will react with the water to form H+, which are acidic ions. Acids will also turn litmus paper red, and have a pH less than 7. A base in water will react with the water to form OH-, which are basic ions. Bases will also turn litmus paper blue, and have a pH greater than 7.
An acid can turn into a base if you mix a much stronger base with it! That way the base acid overpowers the acid and makes the acid a base!

car battery's are filled with a special acid electrolyte which is 65% water however if the level drops it is ok to top them up with distilled water the water doesn't turn to acid it just mixes with the acid
because it turns into an acid
red
Yes. Carbon dioxide forms carbonic acid in an aqueous (water based) solution.
Lithmus will give a red color when added to acidified water or it will turn to red when neutral water is acidified.Remember:Litmus turnsBlue in BasicreD in aciD

Well... Sulfur can make the fluids on your eyes to turn to sulfuric acid, and can get into your lungs and turn into acid there, too. Please, improve if I didn't answer your question.
