It looks like this:
Go to Kragen.com and search for speed sensor. You will find a picture of it.
it should be by your thermostat housing
One of the fuse location for 1997 BMW 528i is in the glove compartment when you open the glove compartment look/feel up it is there kinda hidden.. hope you find this helpful... I had to replace my fuse for the telescoping steering wheel and driver power seat. cheers
looks similar to the camshaft sensor, but it's located in the bell housing on the transmission on passenger side.
If you remove the distributor cap and rotor then you will see the cam sensor bolted on the distributor and it will have an electrical connector pluged into it.
if it has a v6 it's behind crankshaft pulley,if its a 4 cyl.in the block
some 1997 mountaineers didn't come with the dpfe sensor, you will have to look at the egr positioning sensor which is right on top of the egr valve itself . hope that helps
many possible causes, but first look at a faulty hazard button switch assembly faulty.
look under the throttle body on the front of the engine there s a sensor with 3 wires going to it that is the engine coolant temperature sensor
The stuff by Saleen is killer, but it costs. Look into it anyway.
There is no such part as a piston sensor.
theree is one before the catalyitic converters and 2 after the converters. they kindof look like spark plugs with wires coming out of the top.
