You notice your breathing is becoming difficult. The harder you work at getting air in, the less it seems to work. You begin to panic.
Imagine you have a coffee stirrer straw, how thin it is. Now imagine you are under water and that is your air hose. It's just not enough air.
The longer this problem lasts, the more excited you become which makes your dilemma worse.
If you have your rescue inhalor (breather drugs) you can't breathe in well enough to actually get the medication into your system. Now you really, truly think you are going to die.
Others around you panic also. You can't speak but in 2-3 word sentences to tell them what is wrong or what to do to help you. You are drowning in a sea of air; it is all around you but can't get enough of it into your lungs to live.
Like you are suffocating, but slowly. What happens is the airways to the lungs become narrow and airflow is partially restricted when they become irritated. This is because they are super sensitive, more sensitive than the average persons. Two things may cause an Asthma attack: 1)Airway Inflammation, 2)Bronchoconstriction. Airway inflammation is when the airways become red, swollen and narrow. Bronchoconstriction is when the muscles that encircle the airways tighten up or go into spasm. Avoid being outside too much, around pollen or any allergens, exercising excessively, smoking or any inhalants that causes nausea or is bad for your health.
When you have asthma,a breathing disorder/disease, you get weezy when you run or when you are sick. You need to take special inhalers for it. An asthma attack is when you have trouble breathing at any time. You may need to go to the hospital or ER or take and/or take a breathing treatment which helps open up the pipes to your lungs.
Asthma attacks sound like heavy weazing. They're accompanied by chest tightness and pain. If you're not sure if you've had an asthma attack, consult a doctor and ask him/her about it. Hope I helped!
It's a reverse sneeze! My dog had these "asthma attacks" for several years before I researched and was relieved to learn it was just my dog sneezing in reverse!
Your question reads like you want asthma. You don't. When an attack happens you can't breathe and people have died with an attack.
An asthma attack may be triggered by irritants such as dust or pollen
Asthma attack.
Asthma attack.
the worst is you can have an asthma attack, and die. but if you do you can grow out of asthma!!!!!!!!! i should know i use to have it, not any more
I don;t think red pepper causes an asthma attack. An asthma attack is caused by something constricting the bronchi in the lungs. Red pepper can cause an allergic reaction.
You shouldn't. If you do, it is probably about something else, not the asthma attack. But I'm no expert ;)
asthma can kill you when your airways close up and don't re-open. the lugs could also close preventing the person from breathing. this is called an asthma attack. but it does not always kill people.
No, but it can set off an asthma attack.
Yes you can. The adrenaline rush can bring on an asthma attack if you are prone to asthma and not taking your meds properly. My sister had her first asthma attack at 34 when under a great deal of stress, and she had to be hospitalised it was so severe.
not usually but it depends on the person and the attack and what triggered the attack. if it only hurts when you have an attack then you might wanna go to a doctor cause thats not normal with an asthma attack ...
