Appropriations Bills
The house and senate appropriations committees and their subcommittees handle appropriations bills.
They are called appropriations bills.

The appropriations committees ultimately have power and are the ones permitted to introduce tax and appropriation bills. The new Committee on Appropriations has six Republicans and three Democrats and was appointed on December 11, 1865.
Revenue bills. They concern both revenue (taxes) and expenditures (appropriations).

The President submits a budget request to Congress, The House and Senate pass budget resolutions, and house and Senate Appropriations subcommittees markup appropriations bills. Other steps include: The House and Senate vote on appropriations bills and reconcile differences, the President signs each appropriations bill and the budget becomes law
Authorization bills create projects and establish how much money can be spent on them. Appropriation billsactually provide the money for the project.
