the authors point of view means : you want to think the way an author thinks . you want to put yourself in their shoes . thinking in the authors point of view helps releize what they meant about their book and the point they were trying to make and/or get across to you .

∙ 11y agoPoint of view or as commonly known among writers POV is exactly what the words say. It literally means the point of view of a story from one of the characters. It is a useful plot tool seeing as we are rather subjective creatures. Example, a punching scene. The puncher may be enjoying himself. Whilst the victim feels violated and is in pain. Same scene, completely different feelings.
