It's not based on any book, I don't think; there's not one called "Curse of Blackmoor Manor."
There are a few. The first one opens up when you figure out the hand movements of the dragon sculpture in the room across from Loulou. The other opens up when you move the gargoyle in the upstairs hallway a certain way.
ND Curse of Blackmoor Manor, and other games, can be downloaded directly from the Her Interactive website, by paying money. There's no legal way I know of to download it free, however.
