i think the definition of basic rights is - all people have these rights because they are human beings. Everyone is born with these rights and should not be taken away with out a persons agreement.

Every person is born free. The basic rights are the rights that are naturaly entitled to every man and women. Amongst many, there are three that are the most basic and known in America. Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. According to the United States Declaration of Independence, these rights are the most important and should never be taken away.

Basic rights refer to fundamental entitlements that every person is entitled to by virtue of being human. These rights are typically enshrined in laws and constitutions to protect individuals from discrimination, ensure fair treatment, and uphold dignity and equality for all. Examples include the right to life, freedom of speech, and the right to a fair trial.

It depends on who you ask and which authority you wish to adhere to.

'Rights' are cited in many documents and they take various forms depending on the organisation that wrote them.

Nature, however, does not recognise anyone's or any-things 'rights'
