It's a wall, made out of a soap bubble, that either surrounds a cell,
or surrounds some "object" within a cell.
(e.g. the nucleus)
its what keeps everything inside of the cell closed in.. kind of like our skin keeps us from losing all of our insides.

Well a cell membrane is the outer "skin" of the cell and can be permeable, semi-permeable, and non-permeable. A permeable membrane means it allows anything in the cell.
Alcohol moves across the cell membrane by means of osmosis.
cell membrane
The prokaryotic cells have a plasma membrane. They do not have a membrane around their nuclear material. Pro- means before. Karyo- means "nut" or nucleus.
as the name suggests plasma means colorless and in the same waymembrane is also colorless becoz of this cell membrane is also known as plasma membrane
Semipermeable membrane.
A cell membrane is a selectivley permeable membrane. This means that it only lets specific materials get in and out of the cell. The cell membrane helps to let only needed materials into the cell and to get unneeded materials out of the cell. (food goes in waste comes out.)
It hold every thing together and has the same function as a cell membrane that means, it is surrounding the cell and deciding what to let into the cell.
A process by which the contents of a cell vacuole are released to the exterior through fusion of the vacuole membrane with the cell membrane.

Endocytosis
All particles trying to get into the cell must get through the cell membrane. The cell membrane is selectively permeable, which means that it can select what goes in and what goes out. The structure of a cell membrane is called a lipid bilayer, which is two layers of phospholipids.
Outer cell surface that regulates entrance and exit of molecules.
