The crankshaft position sensor can be found on the bottom of the engine in a 2000 Honda Civic EX. It is next to the crankshaft itself.
The crankshaft sensor for this model is located at the front of the engine, near the crankshaft itself.
The 2000 Buick Regal 3.8L Crankshaft Position Sensor is located behind the harmonic balancer pulley.
The rear crankshaft sensor is located on the back of the crankshaft. The rear engine cover will need to be removed in order for the sensor to be visible.

The cam sensor is in the distributor.
It depends on which 'sensor' you are replacing. The crankshaft positioning sensor is on the lower left side of the engine, behind the oil filter. The CPS attaches to the bell housing. Search youtube for videos on replacing this particular sensor. Other videos may assist with other sensors.
