Hi,
I want to ask about Cvv2 code!
what does it mean ?
CVV2 stands for Card Verification Value. It is used for additional security against fraudulent use of your card. It can also be called CVC2 and CID, depending on which type of card you own, for example Visa or Mastercard.
The letters are C V V, not CW. CVV refers to the credit card verification numbers embossed or imprinted on credit cards. Each credit card brand use acredit card verification number, even though they are named differently: CVV2 for Visa, CVC2 for MasterCard and CID for American Express. In all cases, it is a 3-4 digit code that is printed on the credit card. CVV ensures that the person using the card in non face-to-face transactions actually has physical possession of the credit. In some instances it is on the front of the card and in others it is the four digit number next to the signature on back of the card.
It means a credit card company wants to put you into debt by giving you a credit card you can use.
Online payments using a credit card are straight-forward and secure. When paying for a product or service, you will usually be expected to provide your card number, expiry date and CVV2 (last 3 digits on the signature strip). For added security, many sites also use the Verified by Visa /MasterCard SecureCode authentication system, which requires you to set up and use a password for the credit card.

The CVV2 code on a Visa (or Mastercard) is printed on the back of the card. Just flip your card over and you will see one of two things. Either you will see 3 digits to the right of the signature area (those 3 digits will be the CVV2 number), or you will see a string of numbers in which case the CVV2 is the last 3 digits in the string.
