Dumbledore was very fond of Harry since book 1, and Harry trusted him throughout the entire series. By the 6th book, Harry and Dumbledore became extra close to each other as Dumbledore taught Harry about Voldemort's past and they searched for Horcruxes. Harry was devastated when Snape killed Dumbledore.

But before Dumbledore dies they had to go get a locket that is a Horcrux that is keeping Voldemort but it turns out to be a fake because someone left a not in it saying they were going to destroy it.

In the deathly hallow Harry at one point had all three of them. One being the elder wand that used to belong to Dumbledore--which at the end of the book harry destroyed. The Invisibility cloak--which was past down through Harry's family and left to Dumbledore prior to James death and Dumbledore gave it back to Harry. And the Resurrection Stone-- the cracked black stone in Marvolo Gaunt's ring, the cursed one that destroyed Dumbledore's right hand. Also left in the forbidden forest by Harry on his way to fight voldemort. Only one remains in known hands and that's the invisibility cloak, which is with Harry Potter's family.
Who is the smartest character in Harry Potter?
Either Albus Dumbledore or Lord Voldemort. Dumbledore can use wandless magic and can perform spells that most cannot. Although Lord Voldemort performs spells which could be considered more advanced - Dumbledore no doubt could perform them if he were interested in the dark arts. Not to mention that Dumbledore is also a lot older than Voldemort and spent many more years researching and learning, his knowledge of the wizarding world far surpasses Voldemort's. Dumbledore knows and understands certain types of magic that Voldemort never could - for example the power of love and the protections it provides. Lord Voldemort is also very clever although he was never clever enough to discover his weakness and learn why he was being thwarted by Harry, this was something Dumbledore knew. Voldemort also never figured out that Harry was a Horcrux - whilst Dumbledore did. Not knowing this lead to Voldemort's defeat. Voldemort was always considered a brilliant student - but he also always feared Dumbledore because he knew his past and understood that he wasn't a good person. However, even with the Elder wand, Dumbledore struggled to fight against Voldemort. yet he managed to defeat Grindelwald when he was the owner of the wand. It should be noted though that by this point Dumbledore was really old, even in wizarding terms which no doubt had an impact on his ability to fight. The two of them are brilliant in their own ways. A lot of Lord Voldemort's down falls came from not a lack of intelligence, but his sheer determination to be in power. Perhaps if he had thought things through more he would have been more successful in his goal.
Can you have a summary of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince?
Horace Slughorn comes to Hogwarts to be the Potions teacher, and Snape becomes the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. Dumbledore shows Harry several memories of Voldemort's past. Harry receives a potions book with many helpful hints that allows him to excel at potions, and use many spells. The book once belongd to someone nicknamed "The Half-Blood Prince" Harry learns from his sessions with Dumbledore that Voldemort has created 7 horcruxes, an evil object that conceals part of his soul so that he may be immortal. Harry and Ginny start dating. Harry suspects Draco Malfoy is plotting something, and is proven correct at the end when Malfoy opens a passage to allow death eaters into the castle. Harry goes with Dumbledore to a cave where Dumbledore believes a Horcrux is hidden. Dumbledore drinks a potion that causes him great pain, and they are attacked by inferi, but escape. Snape kills Dumbledore. Harry breaks up with Ginny; Harry, Ron, and Hermione all agree to drop out of Hogwarts to search for Horcruxes and destroy them.
Is there a Flashback from Harry Potter book 5?
Yes he does, in the very last book Voldmort is trying to get the elder wand, the previous owner was Dumbledore and you have to kill the previous owner to get it, snape kills Dumbledore and Voldemort kills Snape with his snake nagani. Right before he dies he gives harry a memory. This is his last act. Harry then takes it up to Dumbledore's office and looks at it. it explaines how harry is the last horecrux and how Snape loved harrys mother, lilly.
Is Lord Voldemort in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets?
Lord Voldemort himself is not in The Chamber of Secrets book. Instead, there is a past version of himself, kind of like a ghost of his past, which is hidden inside one of his horcruxes.
Is Severus a death eater in Harry Potter?
No. At the time of the Harry Potter story, he was a death eater in the past, but in the meantime he repented, and (despite his unpleasant character!) worked faithfully for Dumbledore, and the Order of the Phoenix. In other words: yes he is a DE, but an unfaithful DE.
