Fancy means that when something is professional like having a superb dress at a party.

I do not know if you mean English as in British/Posh way, or if you mean English all on it's own.

Therefore I will tell you both.

In the British version the definition means to like, or to be attracted to someone/something. Example: I fancy those pair of shoes.

In the Modern English it means exquisette, or high in quality. Example; Those shoes are quite fancy. This was not taken from a dictionary or an online source. I am quite good with math, literature, and converting words.
