I am trying to fax a document and when I put the number in and hit okay it says fax from glass and I say no and it says insert paper and I cant hit any button.
"Fax from glass" means put the document on the scanner glass, rather than sending it through the document feeder. It usually means that there is some problem with the document feeder, such as a paper jam.
No, the Canon Laser Fax L100 does not have a flatbed glass scanner. Everything is scans is through the document feeder. I've attached the product manual for the US market to the related links section.
Cleaning glass on a fax copier machine is best done using specialist materials. These tend to not contain water, and the cloths tend to not collect a static charge. This prevents damage to the copier.
On a fax report, ECM stands for "Error Correction Mode."
It means that the fax machine on the other end rang but did not pick up the phone call.
"send me by fax..."
"path includes"
it depends on your fax machine. Each error code is different for each manufacturer. On a Toshiba fax machines and related technology, it means that your machine encountered a busy signal when trying to dial to send the fax.
Assuming you mean to send it, write, type or print the document on paper then put the paper copy in the fax machine and operate that accordingly. A fax message is simply a telephoned photocopy.
It the computer is on the same line as the fax machine then no. The fax machine will dial the receivers number to ask for the fax receiver to allow it to send. as you are sending on the same line you'll probably get an engaged tone
If it is a Brother fax it could mean that Dial Restrict is turned on. Instructions from Brother on how to turn that feature off have been placed in the related links section.
What does it mean when you have a message on fax machine load mp feeder with type 6 letter? Clear it off
It meant nothing.
