Finiquito

m. : commerce closing or settlement (of an account) ; http://education.Yahoo.com/reference/dict_en_es/spanish/finiquito

Answer

It is the term to describe the amount in money you get from your employer when you quit a job- at least in Mexico this holds true-, you don't get it if you are fired; it is the law to give an amount proportional to years worked when an employee leaves his/her job.Good luck!
