Friar Lawrence finds Juliet's lifeless body and Romeo's dead body beside her. He sees that Romeo has taken his own life with poison, and Juliet has also killed herself with Romeo's dagger. The Friar's arrival prompts him to explain the tragic events to the Prince and the other characters.

Friar Laurence finds Romeo, who believes Juliet is dead, in the Capulet tomb. Friar Laurence arrives to find Romeo devastated over Juliet's apparent death and helps Romeo take action to be with her.
The Watch. Romeo finds her and thinks she is dead and kills himself. Then Juliet awakes and finds him dead. The Friar returns and tries to convince her to leave the tomb with him but she refuses. The Friar hears the Watch coming and flees the tomb. Juliet stabs herself. The Watch enters the tomb and find Paris, Romeo and Juliet all dead. The Prince, the Capulets, and Lord Montague arrive. Balthasar and the Friar explain what has happened and they all make up.

To break into Capulet's tomb
Balthazar is unable to enter the tomb with the Friar because he is not allowed to accompany him due to religious beliefs or customs, or because the rules of the tomb or site do not permit animals. Additionally, the tomb may be too confined or dangerous for an animal to enter.

Because he knows Juliet is about to wake up and Romeo will not be there, since Friar John was not able to deliver his message.

Two more corpses than were expected. He expected Tybalt to be there, but not Paris or Romeo. He expects Juliet to be there but she is not a corpse. Yet.
Friar Lawrence requests a crowbar to open Juliet's tomb and a letter to write to Romeo explaining the situation with Juliet.
