gate = sha'ar (שאר). Sha'ar also means rate.

to gore (as in to stab someone) = nigeach (×?×™×’×—).


gore (as in something bloody) has no Hebrew equivalent, but you can describe it as dam shezorem mipetsa (דם שזורם מפצע) meaning "blood that gushes from a wound".
