Grass eats by going through a process called photosynthesis. Most plants use photosynthesis to create food (except for Venus fly traps, etc) Plants absorb CO2 (carbondioxide), Sunlight, and H2O(water) to make sugar and O2(air). Photosyenthesis occures in the green of any plant.
Grass doesn't eat anything.... It absorbs nutrients through the soil and depends on water and sunlight and particularly photosynthesis to survive, but no... grass does not 'eat' anything.
Grass receives nutrients and Water from it's roots, and uses sunlight to convert them to energy for the plant
