The core of Christian belief is that The Bible is the true word of God. Being as such, any question concerning Christian belief is a question concerning what the Bible says on the subject. In this case, the term "green light" is never used in the Bible, nor are either word used separately in any relevant way concerning one another.
Green is nearly always used in the bible in relation to vegetation, such as grass, herbs, trees, etc. The few exceptions include references to green cord, meaning cord made from freshly cut, undried plant fibers. Also, it has been used at least once in relation to the color of a fabric, and in a few instances in regards to complexion when talking of sickly green looking skin.
Light on the other hand, besides for a few references used to describe celestial bodies in the Old Testament, nearly always refers to spiritual knowledge, or enlightenment.
Green light may have some meaning within non-biblical pursuits of mysticism, but that would have nothing to do with any major Christian beliefs.
