A very biased study was done in the 60's and 70's which incorrectly assumed certain behavior traits such as tallness and aggressive behaviour. The media exaggerated the traits in books and tv programs so that the general public was grossly misinformed. Today, we know that 47, XYY karyotypes are normal individuals with normal behavior and normal physical traits and is it a disservice to those who have the the extra y to be stigmatized in any other way but normal.
