I would assume it means the cam has been removed. I have never heard the term used in this manner.
this probably means you have a worn cam shaft or cam shaft or the arm that hits the cam shaft to open the valve is worn. this is internal on the engine.
Its a single cam.. it says " 2.0 Split Cam on the cover of the engine... A dual cam would say " 16V Zetec" on the engine cover.
If you mean crank position sensor it's on the back of the engine, forward side. If you mean cam position sensor, that is taken from the distributor, there is no separate cam sensor.
Yes there is only one cam in this engine
Belt.
Your engine is a twin cam.
No.
no, the cam shaft is on the engine cylinder head..
Camming means cruising in your Chevy Camaro. To say a car is a "Cammer" means it has a high lift cam. So I would assume when someone says it is camming they mean the engine is loping due to the high lift cam installed. An engine with a high lift cam will not idle very well, but does run well at high rpms.
The 2.8 engine doesn't use a cam sensor.
The cam is in the engine and it is what opens and closes the intake and exaust valves
