This could depend on a number of things: Are you pre-menopausal? If so, it could be the onset of menopause. If not, then it could still depend on other things. Are you on the pill? If not, you may need to be on the pill to regulate your periods. Also, it could mean pregnancy. At times, when a woman first becomes pregnant, she will have a spotty period during her first period after becoming pregnant. But if it continues, or you are having any other symptoms, you need to see your doctor.
