Well i have a 9 year old who found their old pacifier in their baby box and she started depending on it like a security blanket and she was never attatched to it when she was younger but i guess when she saw her 1 year old sister walk around with it she wanted hers i searched around iy turns out its pretty normal for kids 9 - 14 to want baby things because they dontt likethefact they are not being babied as much as they used to but what i did was tell her she is a big girl now she doesnt need all these childlike things and so she understood and put it back mow and then i see her with one of them in her mouth but i know it is just a fase just let them understand their big kids and if they want to do big kid things thay hve got to act like one but dont just tke it from them let them have it for a day or two but if you see them with the paci in their mouths all the time tell them they are big kids speech again and finally theyll not have the need for it anymore
