Your menstrual cycle doesn't affect implantation bleeding. Implantation bleeding occurs when the fertilized egg attaches itself into the uterine lining (which would confirm pregnancy, but at this time you will not get a positive pregnancy test because you are not far enough along yet).

∙ 7y agoThe term 'menstrual cycle' refers to your entire reproductive cycle, not just menstruation - which I'm presuming what is meant here. If you're cramping after menstruation it may be ovulation pains, it may also be unrelated to your reproductive cycle as sometimes cramping due to stomach upset can cause cramping similar to menstrual cramps. If this occurs every cycle see your doctor for investigation.
