Typically red lines are blood streaks (normally first spotted in the fins) caused by stress.
Check your water quality for ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates, they should be 0, 0, and less than 10 respectively; if they are not, do an immediate 75% water change in your tank making sure that the new water is the same temperature as the old water, and that you add in the recommended dosage of water conditioner per the directions on the bottle.

In addition, add in the dosage of Aquarium salt per the directions on the packaging for reducing stress.
