ask the doctor when that happens
The hearbeat usually heard in an ultrasound about 6 weeks, 12 weeks using fetoscope and using a regular stethoscope about 5 months.
It means 12 weeks 0 days
This means the baby has caused internal bleeding. This can be dangerous if not detected early. Your doctor will stop the bleeding if needed.
That it's probably too early. I would recommend a followup ultrasound at 7 weeks.
I am not 100% sure what you mean by scan, but in my situation a pos test (both at home and the hospital) and nothing showing on the internal ultrasound confirmed an early miscarriage.
As long as the baby is healthy.
If it is an early scan you must have got pregnant the month before. If it is a late scan (after 30 weeks) you may have a big baby. An early scan cannot be 4 weeks off. http://www.genetree.com/about/conception-calculator.asp
you will usually have your first scan between 10-14 weeks, this is refered to has your dating scan, and you should be told how far in pregnancy you are
I was told that they can not detect a heart beat before 6 weeks old with a scan. therefore you must be at least 6 weeks pregnant before the scan will pick up the heart beat.
Yes, CT scans show internal bleeding very clearly.
Do you mean PET scan? That is a scan for cancer metastases, I believe.
If you went for a scan and they couldn't see anything, you might not be pregnant.
