On one kindle you take the books you want to move, sync them to itunes, and down load them on the other kindle. I have two Kindles and when I read a book on either one it asks me if I want to go to the place I left off on the other Kindle, I gues t uses the cloud to do this. When I get a book from the Kindle store it shows up on both Kiindles, it must be magic.
Sync means in the same time or at the same time
To be out of sync means to not be totally coherent with what is going on or not fully understand what is going on at the time. If you are out of sync with things you may be a step behind everyone or not be fully aware of what is going on around you. Being out of sync can also mean you are on the wrong page or not completely connected.
