Dog is eating something it shouldn't like table scraps or heart-worms.
Eaten to much or is sick or possibly has tick on it. If it persists consult vet.
no.......
It means you take your dog to the vet!!!
yes, they grow up--to be 5-8lb--unless they are a teacup Maltese (then they will be 3-4lbs). Maltese also mellow down as they grow up. (like any dog) :)
If you mean to buy a Maltese then (if you want to adopt) I would try petfinder.com, if you want to get one from a breeder, I would Google reputable Maltese breeders in __________ area. You want to make sure you know as much as possible about the breeder before buying one of their Maltese because if a breeder over breeds their Maltese they have more health problems as they grow up. Hope this helped!! :)
Its sort of obvious why your dog throws up when he barks. The smell of the outside air attracts the nose to the outside so it tries to climb down the throat and the dog barks then the nose reaches the mouth and hits the hangy thing in your throat and he throws up.....
no
clean it up
If the dog throws up only certain food, then stop serving him that food. If the dog throws up all food and the vomiting doesn't pass within 12-24 hours (make sure dog has access to plenty of water), or if accompanied by fever, diarrhea, etc., see a vet ASAP. If it happens only occasionally (1 or 2 vomits per year), it's probably not a big deal.
nothing he just throws up or uses the bathroom.
Try the vet, if not that try washing out your dog's mouth with anything safe and preferably give your dog a bath.
Obviously this dog has a serious intestinal problem. Take this dog to see a vet.
It depends how much the parents were. My cousin has a Maltese that is 6lbs but mine is only 4lbs. My grandma also has a Maltese that is 9lbs so it really depends. The biggest weight i know of in a Maltese is 11lbs- my aunt who feeds it table desert. (incase you haven't noticed, my family loves malteses!!! they are great family pets) I own a Maltese that weighs 14 pounds. He's not fat, just HUGE for a Maltese. He's more the size of a Bichon Frise but is in fact a pure breed Maltese.
