There are two types of cancer, benign and metastatic, if it is benign is is "self contained" and not a threat, however if it is metastatic that means it will spread throughout your body to different organs and body parts.

∙ 10y agoWhen the tumor metastasized it means that the disease from the tumor has continued to move to another part within the body and has caused damaged to that body part. Since the tumor metastasized it could mean it is a late stage of cancer despite not showing any other symptoms in the past.
