it depends on the guy. usually when he says that he means putting the relationship on a 'break' is he having some family issues at the moment? or perhaps he wants to spend some time focousing on himself trying to find out more about his identity. ofcourse the other option is that he just wanted to end the relationship and spare your feelings

∙ 13y agoHe's probably trying to be nice without hurting your feelings. Either that or he's just a jerk. I wouldn't spend too much time thinking about it. The best revenge is doing something with your life, so in 10 years he can see what a fool he was.
