Blocking is an internet term for not being able to hear from you. For example, by blocking you on Facebook, they won't be able to get any messages you send him/her. Even though to you they might appear delivered, they will be deleted before he/she sees it. Blocking is used to break contact for one reason, or another. Twitter, they won't see your Tweets. But they can't block you from other people. Only from themselves. So you aren't really blocked from any service, just the person who chose to block you.
