Here Comes the Light was created in 2007.
Disconnect the battery. BUT you should have it checked. There's a code stored in memory that is needed to fix the cause of the check engine light being on. If you do the battery thing, don't take it to a service tech and say fix it until the light comes back on.
According to the 2007 Ford Escape owners manual the V6 engine came from the factory with the ( Motorcraft BXT-40R battery ) ( that would be BCI group size 40R / 590 cold cranking amps )
It uses voltage from the alternator which in-turns comes from the battery.......
Correct the tire pressure.

There is no reset for the charging system light. If it is on then you have a problem. More than likely the alternator is defective.
There is no reset for the battery (charging system) warning light. It is on because there is a problem. Once you repair the problem the light will go out. More than likely the alternator has failed.
You can reset the check engine light on a 2007 Dodge Dakota by unhooking the battery. Leave it unhooked for 10 minutes before reconnecting it.
