if its a long meaningful hug then he probably likes you. if its a sexual hug then he just wants to get some. if its a quick full hug and he walks away right after without saying anything then it just means hes just being nice.

A friend of mine is dating one of my friends. Now that he is dating her she is jealous every time he hugs me or talks to me. I asked him not to hug me because of this and he is mad. Why?
Personally, I'd apologize right away, and tell him that it's fine to hug and talk to you. Get him to tell his girlfriend, that because he talks to or hugs another girl, does not mean she is winning him over. And if she can't accept that, just don't watch when he does it. That's just me, sure it sounds mean, but if his girlfriend likes him, she'll let him do what he would normally do, just like he'd let her do the same. If not, how will they ever live together?
