Check the fuses.
probably lose wires
check the gauges, disconnect the sending unit wires and see if the gauges go up, if not it is the gauges, make sure the key is on
Yes and no you have to rebuild the gauges so they read 12 volt The volt meter wont work with an alternator it was designed for a generator The fuel gauge is different ohms if you stay with the 6 cylinder engine the oil and temp gauge will work but if not the temp gauge has to have a longer tube installed and the oil gauge has to have different fittings installed. on the upside though your speedometer should still work.
All the other gauges work! I have changed the oil several times and it has right oil, and is right amount.
They don't work in hurricanes. No water will collect in the cylinder because of too strong of winds. Most rain gauges are inaccurate because of wind. Rain gauges don't work in certain temperature ranges because the precipitation will freeze. !
The weight of a lead sphere that fits the bore determines the gauge, except for 410 and 9mm
Fuel [Petrol] Gauges that Fail to WorkAlthough there could be one or more other causes for a fuel/Petrol gauge to fail to work, the answer is YES, a "blown" fuse could cause the gauge to not work.
It could be a fuse .That would be a starting place.
i got a new oil sending unit which made my oil gauge start working but with both gauges not working i think you have a blown fuse
Most of the gauges will swap. The biggest differences through the years were just the look of the gauge. The font style and size on them. However, they will typically swap with each other and work correctly.
Do you have check engine light? If not you have an electrical problem within the speedometer assembly.
There is a fuse for the gauges, check it.
