It means either the compressor is not running, or if you are certain it is, the compressor valves are bad. You can verify this by taking an amperage reading and comparing what you read to the compressor nameplate. If the valves are bad the reading will be significantly lower than they should be. Also the compressor will feel hot to the touch and will cycle on and off on it`s internal temperature protection device.
i just put in a new radiator and now temperature gauge reads high but their are no leaks
Low Coolant or faulty gauge
It means the filter needs replacement
Voltage regulator is defective. Have it replaced or this will ruin your battery.
When your battery gage reads high, it means that your voltage regulator is shot. Your voltage is too high. You are about to wreck your battery and some of your electronics. You are facing an extremely expensive repair job if you do not get a fairly inexpensive part fixed.
If you look closely at a regulator gauge you will see the instructions USE NO OIL. There is a reason for this. If pure oxygen or high pressure gas comes in contact with oil it can ignite and cause a fire.
Check coolent level.
Connect a freon gauge and freon can to the low side ac port. Start the engine and turn the ac on high. Open the valve to allow the freon to flow until the gauge reads full.
Either your engine coolant temperature is HIGH , your oil pressure is LOW , or your fuel gauge reads at or near empty
Connect a freon gauge and tank to the low side ac port of the 97 DeVille. With the engine running and the ac on high, open the freon valve. Shut the valve when the ac gauge reads full.
Connect a gauge and freon can to the AC low side port of the A4. With the engine running and AC on high, open the freon valve and allow coolant to flow into the system. Turn it off when the gauge reads full.
any make after 1997 will be susceptible to electrical issues when engine is normal. i wish they would have left the computer stuff out of vehicles. gauge is most likely electrically impaired.
