If they are growling and baring their teeth at the same time, they are telling you to leave them alone and NOW, if not sooner. They might do this if you have them cornered and have no escape.

Your ears were pierced recently and now they puss comes out of them what does this mean?

I would suggest you go back and talk to the individual that pierced your ears and ask them what they suggest. I have no way of knowing how or with what your ears were pierced with so go ask the person you paid to do it, they did it they should help you out. In the future consider seeing a professional body piercer for piercings and avoid the piercing gun crowd.

What does it mean when a horse's ears go back and the tail swishes?

That's easy! Well, when the ears go all the way pinned back then that generally means the horse it irritated/mad. If the tail is swishing its either a fly OR the horse is annoyed and just not being patient with you. Check under the saddle pad, just in case there is no slicks or poky things.
