It means you need to strongly consider getting out of the relationship. Emotional blackmailing (which is what those threats are) is a sign of major problems between two people. When you can tell her to leave and watch her go, you will have achieved self-respect and that needs to be the cornerstone of any relationship.
The fear you feel is a bad thing. You need to be able to control it and say "if you don't value me enough to work this out, you don't deserve to be with me."
It's hard to think and say that, especially when you really care about the other person, but the problem gets to be - do they really care for you? You deserve to be cared for in return and making you apologize even when it's not your fault is NOT adult emotional behavior; it's childish and cruel. If she does walk given the circumstances, let her go; you have grown up by saying "I will take no more" then worry about getting yourself right with you, not anyone else. When you can say to a person "I love you and I want you, but I don't NEED you and if you leave, I will be ok" you will find that others respond to that and respect you more.
