if you are being obsessive, you are letting something continually occupy your mind. for example, if you got a new girlfriend and you asked her about evrything she did and not let her get near any other guys, you are being obsessive towards her.
another example is, if you like somebody and you are constantly thinking and talking about them then you are being obsessive

you can do many things. ignore them. Tell them that their being rude and need to stop. you can tell someone about it.
tell them that it,s very mean what they are doing and it can hurt other peoples feelings.
