It giving you some kind of code. Have your codes read.
Where you able to find what was wrong with your expy? I have a 2003 expy and have the same problem that started earlier today. I would appreciate it if you could let me know what was wrong. thanks
i know on my 93 jimmy i put it into neutral and then push the 4x4 button.. it blinks then the light is steady and put the truck back into drive and go
it is for a four wheel drive, if yours is not a 4x4 then it is just up there.
4x4 indicator light
the four wheel drive is opperated by vacuum that's probably where your problem is
It means that there is a malfunction in the 4wd system.
this indicates that the 4x4 is ingaged or that the sensor think that it is. if you have a push button 4x4 most times it is not disengaging from 4x4 try going backwards a few feet after taking it out of 4x4 mode to see if this does not help .
the blinking light tells you that you have a malfunction in 4wd system. you need someone to scan it for you to find diagnostic trouble code#
Rear wheel drive with four wheel drive capabilities if you have a 4X4 equipped Expedition
That would be the idea. The light reminds you are in 4x4
The light is on because there is problem with the SRS. This is not a DIY repair. Serious injury can occur while servicing this system. You may also cause the airbag to prematurely deploy or not deploy at all. These air bag modules are very expensive and if it goes off, you have cost yourself big $. Take it to a professional for repair and don't even consider working on it yourself. Record the number of blinks before taking in for service. ex. three blinks followed by a pause, then two blinks would be a code 32. If there is a problem with your airbag system the light will go on, stay on, and even blink. The dash will even make a beeping sound. Record the blinks.
