What does it mean when the airbag light and battery light on 1999 Ford Escort flashes?
A malfunction has been detected
The light that shows an engine symbol is your check engine light . If the light stays on while the engine is running, the OBD II system has detected a possible problem with your emission system. If the light flashes on and off, an engine "miss" has been detected . Have your Explorer scanned for any trouble codes to find and then repair the problem.
I think you mean the airbag readiness light . If the light stays on or flashes take it to mechanic / technician
An engine misfire has been detected
If you mean the " BRAKE " light in your dash it's just under the " 0 " on your tachometer
The wrench light in any car means your engine needs attention.
I had the same problem with my 1995 explorer xls. And everyone told me I needed a new transmission. I got on the Internet and found a solution. When Your overdrive light flashes. You need to see if your tranny has a place on the outside to adjust the bands on the inside. This helped mine no more problems. Hope this helps.
On a 2004 Ford Explorer : The ( LOW tire pressure warning light ) is below and to the left of the tachometer
When the overdrive light blinks that means a malfunction has been detected - get it checked out
I was looking at the 2006 Ford Explorer Owner Guide and the wrench light is the Powertrain Malfunction Indicator . It lights up when a powertrain or 4x4 fault has been detected , take it to the dealer
