What does it mean when the ABS light comes on and stays on in a 1996 Chevy Blazer LS?

It means the Anti-lock Brake module is sensing a problem in the abs system. Hook up to the computer terminal under sterring wheel and see what error codes it gives. Look up codes in Chiltons manual to see the problem. Can just be one of the sensors on a wheel is bad. Good luck
