Water belongs in an engine. Now if you mean if there is water in the oil in an engine, this may mean that you have a blown head gasket. This needs repair before you drive the vehicle or it can do serious damage to the engine.
If it's in a water-cooled engine, like in a car, then it means you've got water in your oil - a bad thing.
A cracked radiator will NOT put water in the engine and make the oil milky. A bad head gasket WILL put water in the engine and make the oil look milky. That does not neccessarily mean you have a bad engine. Have someone fix or replace the radiator and replace the head gasket. It could be a good engine for a long time yet
You possibly have an internal water leak in the engine, ergo, a cracked block.
From The Information You Have Asked. You Have An Engine. There Is No Engine That I Know Of Where The Oil And Water Run Together. So The Answer Is NO. You May Want To Change Your oil After You Get The Engine Back Together And Running. But No You Do Not Need To Drain The Oil Out To Change The Water Pump.
Assuming you mean engine coolant is mixing with the engine oil, you probably have a bad head gasket and or a cracked head. If you run that engine in that condition for very long, you will destroy the engine internals.
you mean there is coolant in the oil or oil in the coolant either ways sounds like a head gasket problem.
needs engine oil ...
Water in the oil is a telltale sign of leaking cylinder head gasket.
Usually that symbol indicates that something relating to engine oil pressure is not right, and needs to be checked out, the fault identified, and corrected to prevent damage to the engine.
Check the oil on your dipstick. If the engine is warm, the oil level will be high and look milky or light brownish. If the engine is cold, the oil level will be high and you will be able to see water droplets on the end of the dipstick. If the oil is mixed with the water it will be grey. If not the water will be at the bottom.
