- Being very frank ... does loyalty mean anything to some young people today! When one has an ex they should be out of their lives and when they have a new boyfriend they should remain loyal to that new boyfriend. It's simple! Your ex boyfriend is arguing because he wants you back and it would be wise of you to think of who broke up with who and why. If you are going to continue seeing your ex then have some respect and tell your boyfriend that you are breaking up with him to go back with your ex. What you are doing to your boyfriend is ego maniacal; selfish and cruel. Put yourself in his shoes and see how you would feel if he was seeing an ex girlfriend while you are his girlfriend.
