It means ur feeling insecure about them in some way. Maybe one of ur children is starting something new, like a sport or new grade level, and u want to be able to help them so they don't fail, but they need to learn from trial and error without u. Which can make u feel like ur watching them get hit by a bus. It's perfectly normal, and does not actually mean they will get hit by a bus :)
