If you believe you have seen an image of Jesus, that can be a very special - and a very surprising - thing. It can even change your life. Many people have reported this, so you certainly do not have to feel alone.
First, in what manner did you see this image? Was it a vision of him that appeared to you? Or do you believe that there is an existing object, be it a tree or even something as mundane as a screen door, in which you believe his image is showing right now?
Second, whether he personally communicated to you during a vision, or whether you feel that you know the meaning of his image on an object, does that message conform to the teachings of Christ in The Bible? If - for instance - the message seems to be that you should hurt or kill or do other things against the law, you should know that theologically speaking, most authorities would believe that it is really Satan trying to deceive you.
Thirdly, have you consulted with a trusted minister, priest, rabbi, iman or other professional holy man of an established faith, who can give you guidance in this important matter? You really should. A part of their training is to know what to make of these things. And remember, in the Bible, the men and women who were blessed with such visions and images were always pondering them and seeking wisdom from other people strong in the faith.
Fourthly, if it is an image that is still existing, are you letting anyone pay to see it? If by chance you are - for even the best of motives - you should stop. The selling of religious favors or blessings is against the teachings of the Bible.
Fifthly, have you taken pictures of the image if it still exists? You should, so competent ecclesiastical authorities can review it later.
Finally, as to what it all actually means...well, if it turns out after reflection, consultation and study to be real, it can mean many things, but all of them good. It is, if nothing else, an affirmation of your faith. Be thankful for that.
