All babies are relatively "tiny" at birth; this dream simply exaggerates and dramatizes that expectation. Excluding pregnancy, the "baby" might represent an idea, project or task that feels small to the dreamer.

The dreams recur because your mind is trying to tell you something about this part of yourself. Depending on the content of the dream, you may need to protect yourself better, as you would protect an innocent, vulnerable child. Or perhaps you need to allow yourself the freedom to play and explore things that interest you, or perhaps you need to give yourself permission to express your feelings more often.
