If the pain is not constant or reoccuring its probably nothing to worry about. However it could be due to an infection in the lungs (viral, bacterial sometimes fungal) It also depends if the pain occurs when you breathe in or when you breathe out. If you are constantly experiencing pain, depending on how bad the pain is, you may want to get to a doctor. If it is an infection your body cant fight off you could be in more serious trouble once the infection becomes worse.

∙ 9y agoWhen preceded by runny nose and sore throat, you are probably have tracheitis. Most probably due to secondary bacterial infection. This is probably the right movement to start the course of antibiotic. But then, you must consult the physician. There can be some serious problem at your hand.
