Periods for the first few years are very irregular and take sometime to begin a cycle of timing. I wouldn't worry too much, but remember that the body doesn't go through a calendar year (like humans) it just goes through roughly every 28 days.

Being married with a child, having another child is something best planned so we can prepare fanancially as well as socially. One time my spouse went over her 1 month mark and we got concerened, it took 2 more weeks untill she finally had her period. We do use contraception, but anomolies do happen.
